The men’s hockey branch is coming to an end. Today’s thrilling day resulted in the two finalist teams of the competition: Argentina and Canada.
The first of them, the South American team, was able to reaffirm its previous favoritism and reached the final game after leaving Chile behind in the semifinals with a score of 5-0. Goals from Bruno Correa (2), Juan Fernández, Juan Boretti, and Nicolás Rodríguez placed the “albiceleste” among the top two in the tournament.
In that same round is also Canada, which reached the title game after defeating the United States in an agonizing match with a narrow score of 1-0. Satpreet Dhadda scored the only goal of the game in the last quarter in a hard-fought match where the goalkeepers greatly contributed to the low final score.
Before these games, in the morning shift, Brazil and Mexico won against Trinidad and Tobago and Paraguay, respectively, in the reclassification round for the final positions of the tournament.
