In the morning and early afternoon, Brazil and Argentina claimed back-to-back wins to lock in their places in the next stage. Led by Lorena Loyane and Raquel Ladeia, who combined for 20 goals, Brazil overpowered Cuba 39–12. Later in the day, the United States and Chile delivered a tight, high-scoring battle, with the South Americans narrowly prevailing 31–26.
To close out the night, Paraguay secured its second win in commanding fashion, defeating Uruguay 23–11. Fiorella Enriquez led the local scoring effort with six goals, putting the hosts in strong contention for a semifinal berth.
