From the beginning of the day, the participants showed all their talent in the points exhibition, where they performed well-executed, disciplined routines with extreme concentration and composure. After overcoming several stages, in the men’s traditional Poomsae category, the ambassadors of the United States, Eric Gun, and Mexico, Obed Martínez, reached the final. There, the American was more precise in his movements and scored more points to take the gold medal.
The women’s branch had a similar development to the previous one, with representatives from the same countries in the final and the winner also being American. Kaitlyn Reclusado faced the Mexican Brisa Alekc, whom she was able to defeat to obtain another gold medal for the North American delegation.
In the final team, the Brazilian trio composed of Camilly Gosch, Guilherme Dos Santos, and Henrique Marques defeated their Colombian counterparts 2-0; with partial scores of 29-13 and 14-12; to add another gold medal to their delegation.
