The event was held at the Paraguayan Olympic Committee with outstanding performances by the Colombian competitors. This discipline was included for the first time in the sports program of the Junior Pan American Games ASU2025 for this edition.
In the women’s category, in the first qualifying round, Catalina Henríquez of Chile had an outstanding performance, obtaining the highest average with 61.67 points, after achieving 66 points in her first run and 57.33 points in the second, showing great solidity and effectiveness with great tricks and 360-degree turns. The second-best was the Mexican Sofía Báez, achieving an average of 45.50 points. Third place went to her compatriot Valeria Segura with 36.50 points. The group was completed by the Argentinian Luz Corpacci with 27.00 points and the Brazilian Luna Navarro with 25.50 points.
In the second qualifying round, the Colombian Queen Villegas took the best place on the podium with 82.50 points, thanks to an outstanding overall average and an impeccable execution, standing out for her wide turns and confidence on the ramps. Second place went to her sister Lizsurle Villegas, with a score of 78.50. In third place was the Chilean Antonelle Pastene, with 29.84 points. The Peruvians Ayumi Ytomura (18.00 points) and María Rocha (12.84 points) closed the table; the latter could not complete her minute on the track due to a hard fall that prevented her from continuing.
In the men’s category, Colombian Saúl Hernández had an impressive performance with a score of 81.00, demonstrating character and excellence in the first qualifying round of the afternoon. The second position was occupied by Ismael Arroyo of Chile with a score of 63.34. Third place went to Dannis Jiménez with a score of 41.83, while the Venezuelan Karl Marin completed the group in fourth position with a final score of 35.50.
In the second round of the competition, Víctor Martínez, representing Honduras, managed to stand out as the participant with the best overall performance, reaching an average of 25.34 points, which allowed him to take first place in the standings in this stage. Very close to him, in second place, was the Argentinian Valentino Villalba, who obtained an average of 25.33 points. In the third position was the Venezuelan competitor Anthony Castro, with an average of 23.34 points. The last place was occupied by the Peruvian Jim Pacheco, who closed the group of the round with an average of 18.33 points.
