This innovative initiative aims to integrate the values of sport and education across the entire country, cultivating the Pan American spirit among the youth.
The significant launch event took place in the Medallists Hall of the Paraguayan Olympic Committee (COP). It featured the distinguished presence of national authorities, including Camilo Pérez López Moreira, President of the COP and IOC Member; Víctor Pecci, General Director of the ASU2025 Games; Larissa Schaerer, Deputy General Director; Luis Fernando Ramírez, Minister of Education and Sciences; and César Ramírez Caje, Executive Secretary Minister of the National Sports Secretariat. Representatives from media outlets and leaders from the educational and sports fields also attended, sealing the commitment of various sectors to this project.

During the event, authorities highlighted the transformative impact of this alliance:
Camilo Pérez López Moreira emphasized: “We want to cultivate positive sports values in students. The value of sport transcends the realm of education. We are raising good people; they learn to win and also learn from falls.”
César Ramírez Caje stated: “This is an excellent opportunity for our children and youth to experience firsthand being part of an event of such importance.”
Luis Ramírez added: “This is incredibly important; students will be able to experience what a Pan American Games means. It’s a luxury to be able to appreciate elite athletes who transmit so many positive values; it’s historic.”
The “Let’s Live the ASU2025 Junior Pan American Games Together” project’s central objective is to foster the active participation of students and teachers in activities linked to the Games. This promotes fundamental values such as teamwork, discipline, inclusion, and respect, integrating them into the formation of future generations.
This strategic alliance between the MEC and ASU2025 reaffirms Paraguay’s commitment to the integral development of its youth. The Games are consolidating not only as a great continental sporting celebration but also as a transformative educational legacy that will transcend the event itself.
