The athletes showcased their great technical mastery and dedication in each execution in the Platform and Springboard events. They impressed with their interventions full of creativity and ingenuity, which astonished the large crowd that filled the stands of the Paraguayan swimming pool.
North America shone brighter than all on the final day, and all the gold medals went to the northern part of the continent.
MEN’S 3M SPRINGBOARD
The Mexican delegation had an excellent performance in the springboard swimming discipline, where two of its representatives managed to reach the podium. David Vázquez won the gold medal with a score of 417.65, executing great mastery in his dives. The silver went to Jesús Agundez and the bronze was in the hands of the Canadian Carson Paul, divers who also achieved outstanding performances.
WOMEN’S 3M SPRINGBOARD
The American Sophia Verzly obtained her second gold in the springboard competitions, which were held between Monday and Tuesday. The diver finished with a result of 322.85. The Mexican sisters Cueva Lobato, Mía and Lía, offered a memorable performance with spectacular pirouettes before a large audience that was delighted with the spectacular coordination shown by them. Mía, won the silver, while Lia took the bronze.
MEN’S SYNCHRONIZED 10M PLATFORM
Completing the day, in the most modern Aquatic Center in South America, the Canadian duo, Matt Culllen and Benjamin Tessier, won the gold medal with a total score of 413.46. The Mexican duo made up of Kenny Zamudio and Emilio Treviño finished second. The bronze medal was for the representatives of Cuba, Carlos Rámos and Bernaldo Arias.
WOMEN’S SYNCHRONIZED 10M PLATFORM
The Canadian duo, made up of Katelyn Fung and Kate Miller, won the gold medal after excelling in their presentation rounds and adding a total score of 289.05. The silver medal went to Mexico, represented by Maria Sánchez and Suri Cueva. Third place went to the US team, made up of Ellirese Niday and Hannah McLaughlin.
With competitive and amazing days, the spectacular dives had their entertaining time at the ASU2025 Games in the Olympic Aquatic Center, which will remain open to experience all the coordination of Artistic Swimming.
