In the women’s final, Brazil’s Maria Lucia De Campos shone with a total score of 151.21, standing out with 65.86 points in her third run and dominating the trick round with 85.35 points, thanks to high-level acrobatics and technical mastery.
The silver medal went to the United States’ Poe Pinson, who finished with 143.31 points, excelling in Run 2 (62.46 pts) and the trick section (80.85 pts). Bronze was claimed by Argentina’s Morena Abril Domínguez with 113.81 points, narrowly edging Puerto Rico’s Esmeralda Butler, who totaled 111.44 points and impressed with 70.43 points in the trick round.
Uruguay’s Julieta González suffered an injury after a fall on the course but was able to complete her trick round after medical evaluation.
In the men’s category, Brazil’s Filipe Mota took the gold with 173.05 points, delivering 85.81 in his best run and 87.24 in the trick round, narrowly surpassing his closest rivals.
Silver went to the USA’s Lazer Crawford, who scored 168.32 points, just 4.73 shy of gold. Crawford posted 82.81 in Run 2 and 85.53 in tricks.
The bronze medal was claimed by Brazil’s Matheus De Almeida with 165.64 points, while Chile’s Matías Floto Jiménez finished fourth with 158.50, just outside the podium.
